DAMPAK MULTIDIMENSI COVID-19 UNI EROPA

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai dampak multidimensi Corona Virus Disease-2019 (Covid-19) di Uni Eropa. Uni Eropa sebagai rezim internasional yang paling stabil saat ini mendapatkan ujian dari mewabahnya Covid-19. Hal tersebut membuat kestabilan Uni Eropa menjadi terganggu. Dengan demikan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang dampak Covid-19 di Uni Eropa pada sektor kesehatan, ekonomi, dan keamanan perbatasan negara. Adapun konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep rezim internasional yang diperdalam dengan desk study. Secara umum dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 di Uni Eropa terlihat dengan perlambatan pertumbuhan ekonomi di beberapa negara anggota pada triwulan I dan II, bahkan beberapa negara sudah masuk dalam kategori resesi. Korban Covid-19 terus bertambah membuat isu kesehatan semakin memburuk. Selain itu dampak lain yang terlihat adalah ketegangan yang disebabkan karena perbedaan kebijakan publik dari beberapa negara anggota seperti penutupan perbatasan antarnegara anggota. Hal kebijakan tersebut menyulitkan perpindahan barang, jasa, dan orang sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya ekonomi. Merespon hal tersebut, kerja sama dan kekompakan antarnegara Uni Eropa menjadi mutlak untuk mengatasi dampak multidimensi dari Covid-19, serta mempercepat pemulihan ekonomi yang tidak dapat dilakukan secara singkat menimbang perbedaan dampak dari Covid-19 pada masing-masing negara anggota sehingga tidak dapat ditangani dengan mekanisme yang serupa.
