Jurnal Penelitian Politik is a scholarly publication that focuses on political history, political anthropology, political sociology, political psychology, and various contemporary issues related to local, national, international politics and/or issues related to all three. In particular, it focuses on topics with strategic and important significance to the Indonesian politic and foreign policy.
Jurnal Penelitian Politik was initially published in 2004 by Research Centre for Politics, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) addressed in Jakarta, Indonesia. In October 2021, Indonesian research institutions (including LIPI) were merged into a prominent research institution named National Research and Innovation Agency or Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN). Therefore, Jurnal Penelitian Politik publisher has been officially changed from LIPI into BRIN from 2022 until now. Jurnal Penelitian Politik homepage was https://ejournal.politik.lipi.go.id/index.php/jpp/index. This domain is the official Jurnal Penelitian Politik homepage until today.
Jurnal Penelitian Politik is produced with the intention of serving as a forum for communicating and disseminating the research findings and scholarly ideas of scholars from the Research Centre for Politics BRIN and other institutions.
